General Order Terms

  • Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) but are only posted on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Please allow 7 working days for your order to be delivered.
  • Customers purchasing items by ‘DIRECT EFT’ please note that payment should reflect in the bank account of MADE YOU LOOK before any orders are posted.
    Please send proof of payment to info@madeyoulook.co.za.
    If payment does not reflect within 1 working day the order will be cancelled.
  • You will receive an order confirmation as soon as your order has been placed.
  • You will receive a separate email as soon as your order is dispatched from our stockroom which may take up to 5 business days.
  • Once your order has been placed and you have received your order confirmation you cannot cancel or amend your order.
  • If you wish to exchange or return your order please refer to the Returns and Exchange policy.

Returns

MADE YOU LOOK will gladly exchange merchandise on the terms and conditions detailed below.

 

All sizing and measurement information is listed in the item description, so please choose carefully before purchasing.

 

Only full priced items may be exchanged, sale items are final.

NO CASH REFUNDS, unless there is a manufacturing fault.

Please keep your proof of purchase in case of exchange.

 

We will gladly exchange your purchase provided that:

  1. It is UNWORN and or UNUSED.
  2. It is within 14 days of purchase.
  3. PROOF OF PURCHASE is provided.
  4. You are liable for the cost of postage to exchange/return.

MADE YOU LOOK does NOT provide refunds for:

  1. Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.
  2.  Any sales items.
  3. Underwear.

All items exchanged will be inspected before an exchange is processed.

  1. Items returned that are stained, tampered with and damaged due to wear and tear WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED.
  2. Items that have been damaged due to negligence and/or non-adherence to care instructions WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED.

To ensure you receive your preferred exchange please email info@madeyoulook.co.za with your name, contact details, invoice number and details of the preferred replacement choice (Item name, colour & size). This will ensure your item is kept aside whilst we await the return of your garment. If the style you require is ‘out of stock’ an online credit note will be issued.

 

When returning your merchandise, consider using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be liable for missing parcels. You are responsible for the cost of shipping if you are returning your item(s). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Please note:

  1. MADE YOU LOOK will not be held responsible if there is a delay in delivery.
  2. Customers will be responsible for the return shipping.
  3. For faulty or damaged goods, please include a copy of your postage receipt. If the product is deemed faulty after review we will then credit the cost of postage back to you.
  4. You need to send the e-mail proof of purchase with your order.
  5. In the event that your product is lost in transit, MADE YOU LOOK will not be held liable and therefore recommends that you send all returns via a trackable shipping service.
  6. If using a trackable shipping service, we ask that you allow 7 business days from the day you return your package for your account to be credited.
  7. In the event of using a general postal service, we ask that you allow 7 business days from date of MADE YOU LOOK receiving the return.
  8. MADE YOU LOOK is not obliged to repair or exchange without e-mail proof of purchase. Warranties or exchanges are not available on Promotional items.
  9. MADE YOU LOOK reserves the right to determine whether a product is faulty and conduct a production and quality check. If deemed faulty by MADE YOU LOOK a replacement item will be shipped where possible, subject to stock availability, or a credit note issued. A response for Faulty Claims will be received within 48 hours of the garments arrival at the MADE YOU LOOK Showroom.

How do I care for my MADE YOU LOOK garment?

Cold Wash, No Tumble Dry, Cool Iron only if necessary

 

Bright Colours

While the bright colours will fade over time, to prolong colour intensity we recommend that you wash and dry the item inside out.

Do not leave them sitting wet with other garments and line dry in the shade immediately after washing.

Can I exchange an item?

  • MADE YOU LOOK will happily exchange merchandise within 7 days of receipt of goods.
  • Items must be returned as unused, unworn and in original condition.
  • All Sale purchases are final
